Adrian L. LaFollette, 101 of Carmel, IN formally of Indianapolis, IN passed away June 5, 2006. He was the son of the late W.R. and Eva (Murray) LaFollette born on April 11, 1905. Adrian retired at the age of 72 after working for the C. O. Gooding Shirt Company for 35 years and 5 years with Hamilton Shirt Company. He was a graduate of Indiana University in 1929 and married Clara Mae Kirtley LaFollette on July 8, 1933. Adrian was the oldest living member of Fairview Presbyterian Church where he served as Deacon and Elder. He was a member of Acacia Fraternity, Northside Optimist Club and Thorntown Masonic Lodge. Funeral services will at 11:00 am on Thursday in the Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel with family and friends gathering one hour prior to the service. Graveside service will be in the Shannondale (IN) Cemetery at 2:30 pm on Thursday. Adrian is survived by his wife, Clara Mae LaFollette and daughter, Julia Ann “Judy” (Dr. Charles) McClary of Bloomington, IN and two sons, Dr. James W. (Evelyn) LaFollette also of Bloomington, IN and John A. (Sharon) LaFollette of Carmel, IN. the grandchildren include; Colin and Charles McClary, Erin Curts, John McClary, James W. LaFollette, Jr., Cherie DuPuy, Christopher, Andrew and Michael LaFollette. Twelve great grandchildren.
