Georgia Jean(Herring) Moran, 70 passed away July 3, 2010. She was born to the late George and Thelma Herring. She was born January 2, 1940 in Franklin, Indiana.
She was a graduate of Union High School and also from Butler University with a degree in History. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She enjoyed her job as a bridal coordinator at the Glendale L.S. Ayres. She was an avid pacers fan and she enjoyed the game of bridge throughout her life.
Survivors include her three daughters, Ellen Ahlers (Andrew), Lynn Williams, and Jennifer Fiscus (Cliff); six grandchildren, Cliff III, Evangeline, J.A., Grant, Emmett and Raleigh; sister, Alma Porter; former husband, James M. Moran, D.D.S.; and one niece, Gina Bridges.
Georgia was a proud Mother and Grandmother and will be deeply missed.
Family and friends will gather Wednesday, July 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel.
