Florence L. Adrian, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away July 1, 2010. She was born September 7, 1915, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Lewis I. and Elfie E. (Kaylor) Adrian. Florence served in the U.S. Army during World War II. In 1951 she received her master’s degree from Ohio State University. She worked as a nutrition consultant for the Indiana State Board of Health for 27 years and retired in 1979. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Indianapolis. Survivors include her sister, Naomi E. Bright; her niece, Anne Tibbetts and her nephew, Glenn Liming. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, in the chapel at Hoosier Village Retirement Center. Care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis.
