Evelyn Ridlen, age 95, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010. Born January 27, 1915 in Avilla, IN, she was the daughter of Walter and Lela (Thorpe) Yeiser, who preceded her in death. Her husband, Frank Ridlen, her daughter, Linda Snider, and her two brothers, also preceded her in death.
Evelyn worked 21 years at Indiana Bell in the marketing department. Reading and doing crossword puzzles was a favorite past time of hers.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Steinmetz (Bob); her brother, Charles Yeiser; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. in the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, with burial at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown. Friends may call from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
