Robert Milnor Hitchcock, age 83 of Indianapolis passed away Friday February 5, 2010. He was born on December 19, 9, 1926 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Roland and Margaret Milnor Hitchcock. Robert was a the owner of a manufacturer representative company, Hitchcock Sales Co., for many years selling hardware and building products. He was a member of the Twin Lakes Golf Club and the Robert E. Kennington American Legion Post and had served his country during WWII in the US Navy. Memorial services will be celebrated on Monday February 8, 2010 at 4:00 pm in First Congregational Church, 7171 N. Pennsylvania Street of which he was a member and former Trustee. The family will greet friends following the services. Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years; Maxine Reedy Hitchcock; his children; Susan Jane Hitchcock, Reed (Pamela) Hitchcock and Mary (Robert) Kinas. His grandchildren are; Kathryn, Kelly and Daniel Kinas and Emma Hitchcock. His sister also survives; Jane Kaeser.
