Barbara Ann Cramer Bailey, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, January 13th, after a long battle with cancer. Bobbie, as she was best known, was born in Indianapolis on August 11, 1930 to the late Harry G. and Vada V. Snyder. She grew up in Broad Ripple, attending IPS School 80 then Broad Ripple High School. She worked for many years as a cost accountant for Peerless Pump in Indianapolis. Bobbie enjoyed gardening, working with stained glass and playing with her grandchildren. Always fun loving, she was famous for her "Indy 500" parties each May as well as her enthusiasm for the Colts. In her later years, she spent winters at her home in Port Charlotte, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bailey. Survivors include her two daughters, Vada Cramer-Burrus (Jerry) of Carthage, Indiana and Vicki Lynn Graves (Robert) of Carmel, Indiana; grandsons, Michael and William Graves; sister, Betty Jean McCoy of Port Charlotte, Florida and brother, Lewis Glenn Snyder of San Juan Capistrano, California along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, January 22 at the Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel 740 East 86th Street, Indianapolis with calling there from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Friday.
