The first painting I ever purchased was a Todd Reifers snow scene from money my mother had saved during WWII for an insurance policy paid weekly by 25c coupons. She gave me the money in 1975 and I wanted to spend it on something memorable!
JB knew Pat McCord from early days together with Bob Baxter, Marsh Blackburn and Otto "Fritz" Myer. I met Pat when I needed help rebuilding our screened in porch from dog damage. We then met Katie and enjoyed both of them so very much. Our two boys learned to shoot their first BB gun at the McCord's...sitting at the picnic table side by side and listening to instruction on safety from Pat. They were both kind, gracious and loving people.
